About Us

In 1966, Gerry & Jannie Jans founded the company from their home on Upper Middle Rd in Burlington. The initial focus was on aluminum awnings, storm windows and doors. Today, Jans Awning Products is owned and operated by their son Herman and his wife Joanne.
In 1982, the retractable awning was added to the Jans product line and quickly became their featured item. They have since expanded their product line to include specialized awnings, exterior retractable screens, patio enclosures, patio roofs, and also offer awning fabric replacements.
